The West Chester University chapter of The National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) is an organization dedicated to participation in discussions, presentations, and forums through which members will be able to actively engage in the development of skills necessary to become successful and effective English teachers at the secondary level.

All Secondary English Education majors are welcome to join our biweekly meetings and become members of our chapter. Throughout the year, we offer members opportunities to attend conferences and meet authors at book signings. The national organization (NCTE) is also an excellent resource for future educators.
Fall 2024: We will meet biweekly on Tuesdays at 6:15 PM in Anderson 301
